I did a show on Saturday, the matinee. Then, on the second show, Sam (another Billy), had to step out unexpectedly (he's OK now)...making one and a 1/3 shows in one day!
I heard another blogger, but much more famous for it than I am, Perez Hilton was at the second show. So, he got to see me...for a little bit.
My birthday's in 5 days. We're celebrating it early since my family is here now.
My barani off the piano is in the show now, by the way. And, also, I don't know what nights I go on as Billy until the last minute, so I couldn't tell you what the Billy schedule is like. Sorry!!
Sara wanted to know during the miners scene when they go down into the stage floor if I close my eyes since the lights are so bright. I don't close my eyes, I look at their faces...not directly into the light. For some reason, it seems way less bright when you're close up than when you're sitting in the seats watching the show. I can't really explain it...I haven't got the words. :-)

I think you play such a good Billy to be honest, keep it up mate, I would watch you in Billy Elliot 10 times over!

Whats your favorite song from the show? Also in the scene bofore the song Expressing Yourself, is the polaroid camera that michael uses to take a photograth real. Does it actully take photoes?

I am so glad that you answered Sara's question about if you close your eyes in the miners scene since the lights are so bright.
I have been blinded a few times watching the Sydney production and have thus wondered the same thing!

I'm a photographer from Belgium I went to the show and i was firstly really surprised not to see any blond billy like in the movie or on the cover . But when you made that first move i knew that we all have our interpretation of a Billy . And I loved the energy you putted in that show . It was not allways syncro but I think that made also the charm of it . Yes you have still a lot to learn , but I learned a lot from you too ..and i wanted to thank you to have made me feel free for a moment and so deeply touched . Keep on doing what you doing with the enrgy you putting into it . You say you did one & 1/3 shows on Saturday. I saw you do both shows on Thursday 24 January! You must have been exhausted afterwards! I think that was only the third time in the history of BETM that a Billy has done both shows in one day. Well done!
