Hey Trent - I finally got to see you perform as Billy Elliot on Saturday evening, January 3rd. You were amazing, outstanding, stunning, stellar, superb, awesome and awe inspiring!!!

I brought eight friends with me, including a several theater people, one of which did some of the casting for the original run of Sweeney Todd. Like all of us, she was completely blown away by your performance. She enjoyed your singing and dancing, but it was your acting that had her completely floored! She started raving about your acting skills at the intermission, explaining how you commanded the audience's attention and that she could not take her eyes off of you. After the show, she asked me if they rotated the older Billy as well, as she felt he could pass as your older brother. :)

Personally, I want to say thank you to you for putting your all into Saturday evening's performance and for dedicating so much of your time and talent to making us folks in the audience smile, laugh, cry, and ponder. My group spent a good hour and a half after the show talking about your amazing performance and the various messages contained in the show. We picked up our discussions again over breakfast and now have gone our separate ways. If you ears were burning, that's because my friends spent most of today telling their coworkers about your outstanding performance!

Thank you again sharing your talent! I can't wait to get back to New York to see you perform again.

Sincerely,

John Canning
