Layton Williams, my old roommate and friend from the Billy House in London, just had his final performance in BETM in England.
Here's a cool shot from the curtain call I found:
But . . . it looks like Layton won't be away from the stage for very long. Rumor has it that he'll be in Thriller Live as young Michael Jackson.
How awesome is that?! One more excuse to visit the UK . . . when I have the time!! Congrats!!

Go Adina!
A big congratulations to my friend Adina!
She's been selected for the Tap Attack Youth Company's team of 15 dancers who will represent England in the World Tap Dancing Championships held in Germany this December.
Hey, Adina, you probably WON'T be tapping in a tutu!

More Answers!!
Hi everyone!
Here's answers to some of your BETM on Broadway questions and some pictures from our first week of rehearsals:
Will performing Billy on Broadway be much different to performing Billy in London?

I think it'll be total different because I'll be with my parents in my hometown!
My favorite style of dance is tap. I still want to be on the Broadway stage when I get older! What is your favourite style of dance? And what do you plan to do after performing in Broadway?

When you come back to NY to do BETM on broadway will you be living at home or at a brand-spanking new Billy House? When you were London, did someone make all the dinner (and I literally mean the dinner that comes after lunch!) and if yes, is there a menu like school lunch?

Back in London, we did have a hot lunch cooked for us, but for Broadway, we're all still trying to figure out our housing.
Who do you share a room with in the Billy house?

I started as roommates with Sam, Sean and Corey, and by the time I left, I was with Layton and Hogan! With Billys retiring and leaving for Australia and a house change, it was always different.
Other than your friend David Bologna, do you know who else will be playing the role of Michael on Broadway?

Here's a picture of them! All three Billys, along with two Broadway Michaels, David Bologna and Frank Dolce:

Please Don't Stop the Music!!
Hey everyone!!
The Billys went shopping at the (fabulous) Wembley Market and all got some really good stuff for really good prices. I wish they had something like this all year.
I bought headphones for my iPod...which (long story) I have not seen since it got left behind (accidentally) in New York when I was home and is (I think???) lost in the mail somewhere in England last I heard from my mom.
Cross your fingers that we find each other soon. I need my music!!

Back in London!!
My dance teacher (Dorothy) and her daughter (Carly) were already here when I arrived, which was pretty funny since I just saw them in New York the day before!! I'm really glad she finally got to see me in the show as Billy.
Here's some pics of us at the stage door and hanging out at Starbucks:

A Day In the Life of Me
Here's a walk through of a day in England as a Billy in Billy Elliot the Musical:
HOUSE - I get up at around 7:45, make my bed, get dressed, then take any dirty clothes down to the wash. I bring up my clean clothes. Then I put my things for the day in the hall, right near the door.
At around 8am, I make my dinner or "tea." (Whatever you want to call it!) Then all of us eat breakfast, brush our teeth, then go to the car.
CAR - Listen to my iPod and wait to get to school.
SCHOOL - 3 hours of school, then lunch or "dinner" (again, whatever you want to call it!)
To be continued...
