TV Tune-In: WNET Channel 13 on Monday, December 1 at 8 pm et/pt

Finding Billy, a new documentary on the casting of the Broadway musical Billy Elliot will debut on WNET/Channel 13 on Monday, December 1 at 8 pm.

The program will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the nationwide search for the three actors who play the lead role in Billy Elliot the Musical on Broadway. During the broadcast, stars David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik, Kiril Kulish (who share the title role) and Carole Shelley (who plays Grandma) will be present in the Thirteen studio to talk about the show.

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the show tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The musical features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, direction by Stephen Daldry, and choreography by Peter Darling.

Just a heads up for those in the viewing area who may not be able to watch or record on the 1st: the documentary repeats on Tue. Dec. 2nd at 1:30 PM ET on WNET.

The documentary never mentioned that you played Billy in London. Did you talk about that to the cameras and they cut it out, or did you never mention it during filming?

Congrats on all your success. I saw you 11/22 & you were great, even though there was no flying that night.
