Happy holiday everybody!
I got some really cool stuff for Christmas, and finally mastered solving the Rubik's cube. (Check out the pictures.) It makes the scene where I bring some "stuff" to create a dance for the audition even funnier now!
I did the show on Christmas night, and had 80 family and friends in the audience! It was amazing! (I may have some photos to share soon.)
Hope you all had a great holiday, too. I have a show tonight, so gotta run!

Hi my name is emily
I was there that night, the loads of family and friends explains the number of people waiting at the stage door!
Anyways, congrats on the rubiks cube, I've always wanted to be able to solve one.
i saw you that night!!! you were incredible.
just wondering; do you take dance classes outside of billy elliot; ie broadway dance or steps or dancewave? (or something else)
Well done Trent, nothing like solving the Rubiks Cube. :D :D Very impressive.
Are you going to learn to solve the 4x4x4 and maybe even the horrible 5x5x5. ( I still haven't tried the 5x5x5 it looks very scary!!!)
Hope your having a great time on Broadway (can you come back to London for a little bit...please :D)
Sara
Hi, this is the same emily from above.
I actually had a question about singing and dancing. as an aspiring choreographer hoping to branch in to musical theater choreography, I wanted to get some answers from the performers. a) how hard is it, and what steps are either near impossible or extremely difficult to do WHILE singing? and b) how difficult is it to do a big dance number like in "Electricity" and then immediately sing again, and as a performer would more time to recover be better?
And any other advice you might have from being a performer and having worked with choreographers!
Trent,
I have nominated you for the blogger's choice awards
